4/5: Celebrity Apprentice recap: Atlanta’s Tionne “T Boz” Watkins cut

“I lived my whole career on the edge and that speaks within itself,” said a befuddled T Boz in her farewell. Basically, T Boz didn’t do anything badly at all during her entire run. She was well liked and worked hard. She even won her challenge for the Sickle Cell Foundation of Georgia last week, winning the group $20,000. But she did absolutely nothing interesting from a TV viewer’s perspective.

“I want to see my daughter grow old and be a grandma,” T Boz said earlier, after giving the $20,000 check to the foundation. She has battled Sickle Cell all her life.

Then Trump went completely off task to fire Khloe Kardashian, too, because she had to take time off for a DUI the previous week. He's not a fan of DUIs. (Who is?) He contributed $20,000 to her charity, related to drug and alcohol abuse awareness. Then he canned her. This despite the fact Clint Black had completely botched the challenge. In other words, Trump got rid of Khloe for a reason that had zero to do with the task at hand.

Wow. This show just gets stranger and stranger.

At the top of the show, we hear the show is trying to help Dennis Rodman, who was eliminated last week and clearly has a drinking problem. Since this was taped months ago, it's unclear whether Trump's "intervention" led to anything. I can't find anything online that this is the case.

The teams got mixed up. On KOTU, UGA alum Herschel Walker joined Joan Rivers, Clint Black, Khloe Kardashian, and Natalie Gulbis On Athena, T-Boz joined Melissa Rivers, Jesse James, Annie Duke and Brande Roderick. (Brian McKnight had a previous engagement and had a bye but will join the Athena team)

The challenge: do a viral video for All detergent. Both sides struggled to toe the line between “edgy and outrageous” and acceptable to All detergent execs and the target demographic of women 25-49 who are tech savvy. Both ideas came up with “little people” ideas to tie in the “small and mighty” concept.

Clint Black had this idea of a joke which turned "doing laundry" into a euphemism for sex. A "little person" was supposed to do it, but the actor was awful. Black took over. The three women on the team were flabbergasted and tried to stop him but as project manager, Black ignored them. Joan Rivers goes ballistic. She felt like she was blocked out of the process while Black played dictator. "I thought it was dirty. I thought it was stupid. i don't think handled the product in any way," Rivers said. She later said, "I hope I never see him again."

“I wouldn’t send it to anyone,” said Herschel Walker, who thought it was silly.

“I was offended by it,” said Annie Duke.

The Athena team’s Jesse James video with the three little people was actually pretty funny. “Hilarious,” said rival Joan Rivers.

“Best team experience I’ve had on the show,” James said.

The result: The square-ish All execs didn’t like either video. The Jesse James video had cursing bleeped out (Perez Hilton liked the video) and the other bordered on porn. So nobody won.
