Former tennis star Anna Kournikova, now more famous for being famous, came to Hyatt Regency in Atlanta for the Boys & Girls Club's national conference. The 27-year-old beauty, who lives in Miami, was in town as a Boys & Girls Club spokeswoman and also to promote Cartoon Network's "Get Animated" campaign, which encourages kids to (ironically) get off from the couch and go exercise.

I spoke with her for three minutes Wednesday and here’s the video I shot:

She played Four Square, a playground game, with some kids from a local Boys & Girls club.

Six soldiers were honored, each receiving Meritorious Service Medals, Thursday for heroic actions responding to the shooting at Fort Stewart. “One of the things I can say unequivocally is that the fast action of these soldiers — under stress and under trauma and under fire — absolutely saved lives from being lost,” U.S. Army Secretary Dan Driscoll told reporters as the six soldiers stood near him Thursday. “They are everything that is good about this nation.” (Hyosub Shin/AJC)
