There was one politician paying particularly close attention to Georgia State's upset victory over Baylor.

Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle's son Carter is a freshman guard on the team, one of three walk-ons on Georgia State's squad this season.

Carter was a star player at Johnson High School in Gainesville, and is the third Cagle son to attend the school. (His other two brothers played on the golf team.)

The proud papa, who couldn't make the game, gave a shout-out to the team from the well of the Senate.
