UPDATE: As of 8:10 a.m. this morning, throw out your original Senate Rules Calendar. They've rescinded it and replace the entire thing with a new one. Seven bills will now be on the floor today in the chamber, none of which was on the original calendar.
Among them is House Bill 425, the school testing opt-out bill that clarifies Georgia parents' rights to refuse standardized state tests for their children.

Among the 11 bills on the Senate floor is House Bill 205. Sponsored by powerful House Rules Chairman John Meadows, R-Calhoun, it would create the first new fracking regulations in a generation and is aimed to protect the one, eight-county region in northwest Georgia that Meadows has said is ripe for the industry.
House will set its calendar at a 9 a.m. Rules Committee meeting in Room 341 Cap.
As will be the case all week, committee action will be fast and furious especially in the Senate. Members have taken up a number of bills that aren't quite the same when they finish.
It's Tax Day for the Senate Finance Committee. E-tax, Uber tax, car tax, flat tax -- you name it, they've got it. Meeting starts at 2 p.m. in Room Mezz 1 Cap.
The question whether to regulate fantasy sports may get a vote in Senate Regulated Industries and Utilities as the committee takes up HB 118. Meeting is set for 1 p.m. in Room 310 CLOB.
