Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine will make his first trip to Georgia since gaining that title when the Virginia senator visits Atlanta to raise money later this month.

Kaine will be the honored guest at a pair of events Sept. 25 at the homes of Dr. Stephen and Arnika Dawkins and Teresa and Joseph Roseborough.

A hefty $33,400 ticket gets one a lunch, photo and reception with Kaine while $5,000 brings a photo and reception. See the invitation here.

Stephen Dawkins was recently named to the Democratic National Committee's new Victory Leadership Council in Georgia, a group of top party leaders tasked with growing the party from within. His wife, Arnika, owns an art gallery on Cascade Road.

Teresa Roseborough is executive vice president and general counsel at The Home Depot while her husband is also a an attorney in Atlanta.

There's no word yet whether Kaine will hold any public events but it's reasonable to expect he at least stop for a meet-and-greet ala Bill Clinton's journey to Manuel's Tavern last month.
