A sign of a GOP fight for chairman

A Democrat always interested in Republican doings just sent us this photo, taken on Milledge Avenue in Athens – where, next month, state GOP chairman John Padgett, will stand for re-election at a state convention. Athens is Padgett's home, so clearly the sign is intended as a goad.

So far as we know, Alex Johnson of DeKalb County is his only opponent. A Google search turned up no group known as “Improve the Georgia GOP.” More info on the outfit would be appreciated.
