WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama will visit Atlanta on Tuesday to give a speech and raise money for the Democratic National Committee.

The White House announced the trip this afternoon, without revealing additional details.

The next week is turning into a Southern theme for the president. He will be in Columbia, S.C., on Friday visiting a historically black college and Alabama on Saturday for the Selma festivities.
