Today's edition of GPB's "Political Rewind" is Monday-focused: On a college national football championship featuring the universities of Georgia and Alabama, and President Donald Trump; on the first day of the 2018 session of the Legislature; and a day of argument over water rights before the U.S. Supreme Court.

Actually, we gave that last one short shrift. Early talk focused on state Rep. Meagan Hanson’s bill to establish harsher punishments for hate crimes in Georgia, and the effort to make sexual harassment less of a worry for women – whether lobbyists, interns or even pages – in the state Capitol.

And, yeah, how ‘bout them Dawgs. If you couldn’t catch it live, click below to listen now:

Today’s panelists: Host Bill Nigut; yours truly; state Rep. Mary Margaret Oliver, D-Decatur; Republican activist Julianne Thompson and Shelley Rose, deputy regional director of the Anti-Defamation League.
