Chet Lambert of Warner Robins died earlier this month at age 82. He was a retired Air Force master sergeant, a runner, a great-grandfather and an avid writer of letters to local newspaper editors. Lambert got in one last shot with an obituary that included these paragraphs:

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, 1207 Macon Road, Perry, GA, 31069.

Finally, it would have been Chet's sincere wish that to honor his memory his friends not cast votes for Hillary Clinton.

Alas, Lambert had no beyond-the-grave advice on the Republican presidential race. Hat tip to the Macon Telegraph on this.
