Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed spent a large chunk of time this afternoon with Rose Scott and Denis O'Hayer, co-hosts of WABE (90.1FM)'s new afternoon issues show, "A Closer Look."

Click here to review the audio. But we caught one self-revealing snippet, during Reed's discussion of his current contest with Atlanta Public Schools over Atlanta Beltway funding. It goes to his post-riposte style of combat.

Said Reed:

"My Dad told me that the dictionary definition of a person, place or thing that doesn't respond when it's attacked, when misinformation is spread, is 'lunch.'"
