Oct 12, 2017The rollout of Kasim Reed's endorsement of Keisha Lance Bottoms in the race to replace him as mayor of Atlanta advances today with a 60-second radio ad. The spot continues to take advantage of and magnify the Democratic Party of Georgia's assault on Mary Norwood. It also carefully invokes the name of Donald Trump. Listen:
The gist of Reed's message:
"[Bottoms] will continue the progress we've made and do even more to help our neighbors left behind from our city's progress. If you want to stop a Republican takeover of City Hall, please vote for Keisha Lance Bottoms. She's the strongest Democrat running, and she will stand up to Donald Trump."
