Republican Hunter Hill rolled out an introductory campaign video that emphasizes his combat experience and his pledge to bring "strong leadership" he honed in the military to Georgia government.
"We've got outstanding leaders in the military, where we don't have strong leadership is in the government," said Hill.
"If we just let the political class elect all of our elected officials - the ones who might have a state law that benefits their industry, or they're lobbyists, or they're just insiders down at the Capitol - if those are the folks we leave in charge, we don't have a chance."
Hill is one of four leading Republicans in a race that also includes Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle, Secretary of State Brian Kemp and state Sen. Michael Williams.
