Former Missouri Secretary of State Jason Kander and ex-Ohio state Sen. Nina Turner, two Democrats with national followings, will be in Atlanta on Monday to endorse Stacey Abrams bid for governor.

The two will headline Abrams' Atlanta "kickoff" as her weeks-long roll-out continues. The House Minority Leader formally announced her campaign in Albany on June 3 and followed that withe events in Dalton and Macon.

She faces fellow state legislator Stacey Evans in the Democratic primary. Four Republicans are also in the race: Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle, Secretary of State Brian Kemp and state Sens. Hunter Hill and Michael Williams.
