The Donald Trump show is coming to metro Atlanta.

The billionaire Republican presidential front-runner has officially scheduled an event at the North Atlanta Trade Center in Norcross on Oct. 10, a week from Saturday. The event begins at noon.

A recent Politico story on Trump and the televangelizing crowd mentioned a Trump visit on the same day for a meeting with black pastors.

This would be Trump's first Georgia stop of the presidential campaign season. He was supposed to appear at the RedState Gathering in August until he was dis-invited at the last minute for his "blood" comments about Fox News host Megyn Kelly.

Trump recently announced that he had hired consultant Seth Weathers to head up his Peach State team.

The announcement makes next weekend a busy one on the 2016 front: Fellow Republican presidential hopeful Ben Carson, who has been gaining on Trump in the polls, is due in Gainesville on Sunday Oct. 11.
