This morning, a truncated school bus bearing David Pennington campaign signs is circling the state Capitol with unusual cargo: A large chrome-plated statue of a sword-wielding knight. Specifically, we think, St. George.

If we’re not mistaken, Gov. Nathan Deal's GOP challenger has borrowed one half of a tableau from the front yard of Morgan County tea partyer and millionaire Ray Boyd. The other half, not on the school bus, is a chrome dragon.

Here's a question: How do you quantify knightly rental on a campaign disclosure report?
