AC/DC's Angus Young isn't sure if the band will call it a career after this current world tour.
The rock guitarist told Rolling Stone that the band is committed to finishing the tour with frontman stand-in Axl Rose, but, "Who knows what I'll feel after? When you sign on and say, 'I'm gonna do this and that,' it's always good to say at the end of it, 'I've done all I said I would do.'"
AC/DC plays Atlanta Sept. 1 - a show that was rescheduled when lead singer Brian Johnson was ordered off the road by doctors to prevent permanent hearing loss.
In addition to losing Johnson, the band’s Malcolm Young and Phil Rudd have also departed – Young to a battle with dementia and Rudd because of personal issues – and bassist Cliff Williams announced he will retire after this “Rock or Bust” tour.
As for Rose, Angus Young says the Guns N' Roses wailer has fit in nicely with the band.
“He's been really good. He prepares himself, ready to go. We sit and chew the fat before we get on, work out what songs we want to do,” Young said. “It's gotta be fun for him, and for us.”
Young recounted how Rose met with AC/DC in a rehearsal space in Atlanta shortly after Johnson's departure and volunteered to fill Johnson's slot.
