The post-season success of Atlanta United means a slight change for Ed Sheeran fans.

The concert featuring the British singer-songwriter is being moved back a day to Friday, Nov. 9. The MLS team’s home playoff game is slated for Sunday, Nov. 11, but stadium and tour staff requires 24-36 hours to change over Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

All tickets purchased for the original concert date of Nov. 10 will be honored on Nov. 9; no further action is required if you can attend the new date.

Otherwise, refunds are available via www.ticketmaster.com and 1-800-745-3000. Exchanges and relocations are not available. For transferred tickets, the refund goes to the original buyer (tickets must be transferred back to them). Refunds should post in 7 - 10 business days.

Nothing else changes with the Sheeran show aside from the date. Doors to MBS will open at 5 p.m. Nov. 9 and the show begins at 7 p.m. with openers LUAV and Snow Patrol.

The concert is sold out, but any refunded tickets will be placed on www.ticketmaster.com for purchase. A few suites are also still available – contact suites@mercedesbenzstadium.com for information.

The singer responsible for monster songs “Perfect,” “Shape of You,” “Thinking Out Loud” and 23 other chart hits is in the midst of his first-ever North American stadium tour. Last week, he sold out back-to-back shows at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
