The 2019 Music Midtown lineup will be unveiled about a month earlier than usual.

On May 14, fans will find out who will perform at this year’s event, which returns to its usual home of Piedmont Park on Sept. 14-15.

Tickets for the festival – two-day general admission, VIP and Super VIP – will go on sale at 10 a.m. May 17 via www.musicmidtown.com.

Last year's lineup included headliners Kendrick Lamar, Imagine Dragons, Post Malone and Fall Out Boy, while also spotlighting Khalid, Janelle Monae, Kacey Musgraves, Thirty Seconds to Mars and Maggie Rogers, among others.

This marks the 25th anniversary of Music Midtown, which debuted in 1994 on a slate of undeveloped land on Peachtree and 10th streets in Midtown. The festival was created by concert promoters Alex Cooley and Peter Conlon; Cooley passed away in December 2015 and Conlon is the president of Live Nation Atlanta, which produces the current Music Midtown.
