Madonna fans in Atlanta will have to wait a bit longer – like 2016 – to see the superstar.

Because her tour launch is being postponed from Aug. 29 in Miami to Sept. 9 in Montreal, Madonna's Philips Arena show, originally scheduled for Sept. 2 , has been bumped to Jan. 20, 2016.

That means instead of being the second U.S. city to witness the “Rebel Heart” tour, Atlanta is now one of the last.

The reason given for the 10-day postponement of the tour kickoff is production delays.

“As my fans already know, the show has to be perfect.  Assembling all the elements will require more time than we realized.  I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause my fans.  I can promise you this show will be worth the wait.  Can’t wait to share it with all my Rebel Hearts out there,” Madonna said in a statement.

Tickets for all previously scheduled performances will be honored at the new dates. Refunds are available at point of purchase.
