Lecrae’s “Church Clothes 3” soared into the No. 1 slot on Billboard’s Rap/Hip-Hop Album chart this week.

The Atlanta musician, who roots his rhymes in his Christian faith, surprised fans with the midnight arrival of the mixtape on Jan. 15.

Lecrae’s latest also charted at No. 1 on the Independent Album chart, No. 3 on the Digital Albums chart and No. 12 on the mainstream Billboard 200.

When Lecrae released his Grammy-winning “Anomaly” in 2014, he became the first artist to hit No. 1 on the Gospel Albums chart along with the Billboard 200.

“Church Clothes 3,” which was produced by S1 and features guests E-40, N’Dambi, John Givez and others, is available for digital purchase across all platforms and in physical form at DTLR stores.

Lecrae’s memoir, “Unashamed,” will arrive May 3.
