Atlanta rapper Jeezy has for years hosted a turkey giveaway and this season, he’s giving away full boxed meals to prepare on Thanksgiving Day.

Each box will contain a turkey or ham, cans of green beans, corn and cranberry sauce, stuffing and a package of rolls.

Several area churches, including Mount Sinai Baptist Church and Ebenezer Baptist Church, are providing tickets for families to receive the donations.

On Wednesday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Jeezy will be at Mount Sinai in Atlanta to distribute the goods (recipients must have a ticket).

The food contribution comes from his non-profit organization, Street Dreamz Foundation, as well as a donation from the Atlanta Hawks Foundation.

Jeezy (aka Jay Jenkins) released his eighth studio album, “Church in These Streets,” earlier this month. He’s been spreading goodwill during a tour to support the album, such as recently talking to misguided youth at a Philadelphia detention center, the Juvenile Justice Services Center.

At 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jeezy will headline a sold-out show at The Tabernacle and on Nov. 30, he'll return home to perform during an Atlanta Hawks game.
