Free concert tickets to Snoop Dogg, Tedeschi Trucks Band and more

Bow wow wow, yippee yo yippie yay. JONATHAN PHILLIPS / SPECIAL

[Congrats to randomly selected winner Alan G. and thanks to all of those who entered!]

Today is the final day of the Live Nation Kickoff to Summer event - and also the last day of our ticket giveaway.

You can still purchase $20 tickets to select concerts - primarily at area amphitheaters -- at until midnight, so what are you waiting for?

To get you in the concert-going frame of mind, I gave away a pair of tickets to select shows every day this week. We've got one more day left, so let's go!

To enter to win a pair of tickets to one of the shows below: Send me an email at

A few basic rules: Please do not enter if you cannot attend the show. Only one entry per email address. Make sure to include the name of the show you want to attend. And if you put anything other than “Live Nation tickets Day 5” in the subject line, I won’t see your email and you will have zero chance of winning. Seriously. If your subject line says, "I love Snoop!", well, great. Thanks for sharing. But that's as far as it will get.

For Day 5 of the giveaway, it's sort of a grab bag of fun. Your choices for ONE pair of tickets are:

Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa with Kevin Gates, Jhene Aiko, Casey Veggies and DJ Drama (lawn seats) – 7 p.m. July 22 at Lakewood Amphitheatre.

Tedeschi Trucks Band with Los Lobos and North Mississippi Allstars (reserved seats) – 7:30 p.m. July 23 at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre.

The Art of Rap Festival with Ice-T, Public Enemy, Grandmaster's Furious Five, Naughty By Nature, Mobb Deep, Kurtis Blow, Epmd and Busy Bee (lawn seats) – 5:30 p.m. July 31 at Lakewood Amphitheatre.

Needtobreathe with Mat Kearney, Welshly Arms and John Mark McMillan (reserved seats) – 7 p.m. Aug. 20 at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre.

I will randomly select the winner and post the name at the top of the corresponding day’s blog post. Good luck!

Also, while it isn't required, I would appreciate it if you would follow the AJC Music Scene on Facebook and Twitter.
