The Dave Matthews Band will return to its favorite place – the stage – this summer with a lengthy tour that kicks off in June.

The recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominees will land at Ameris Bank Amphitheatre in Alpharetta at 7:30 p.m. July 29. An online ticket pre-sale for members of the DMB Warehouse Fan Association will begin at 10 a.m. Jan. 23 at www.warehouse.davematthewsband.com. Citi cardmembers will have access to a pre-sale from 10 a.m. Feb. 18 through 10 p.m. Feb. 20 via www.citientertainment.com.

And finally, tickets for the general public will go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 21 at www.livenation.com.

The band is asking fans to join their commitment to help plant one million trees with The Dreaming Tree Wines and DocuSign. Concertgoers can contribute an optional $2 donation per ticket to plant a tree with The Nature Conservancy's Plant a Billion Trees campaign. For further details, visit

plantabillion.org/DMB.

DMB is also working with Reverb to calculate the carbon footprint associated with fan travel to their concerts. The band will neutralize those emissions by supporting carbon reduction projects.

In 2022, Georgia Power projected its winter peak electricity demand would grow by about 400 megawatts by 2031. Since then, Georgia has experienced a boom of data centers, which require a large load of electricty to run, and Georgia Power's recent forecast shows peak demand growing by 20 times the 400-megawatt estimate from just three years ago.
