[Update: The opening of City Winery has been moved to June due to construction delays. The June 4 10,000 Maniacs show is now the first scheduled performance. Management says they are working to reschedule the other shows at a later date. Current ticketholders will receive two complimentary seats to a non-sold out City Winery show of their choosing.]

City Winery Atlanta is rolling out the red carpet for the initial lineup of shows in its 300-capacity live music room.

While the venue will present Lizz Wright at the Buckhead Theatre on Feb. 28, its own concert series launches May 7 with the illustrious Mavis Staples.

Others on the initial rundown include Steve Earle, 10,000 Maniacs, Robby Krieger of The Doors, Amel Glorieux, Todd Snider and Leon Russell.

Tickets for the shows will go on sale March 3. Those with VinoFile memberships can purchase tickets Feb. 25 (memberships can be purchased now at www.citywinery.com/atlanta.

All City Winery concerts are all ages and start at 8 p.m., unless noted.
