It’s rather fitting that Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka Flame has the honors of helming a song from “Pixels – The Movie Soundtrack” since his name evokes the sound Pac-Man makes when chomping up a row of ghosts (or a fire truck, as we see in a clip from the movie in the video below).

“Game On,” which also features Good Charlotte (aka Benji and Joel Madden aka The Madden Brothers) isn’t much in the way of melody – the song consists of Good Charlotte singing stomp-and-clap lyrics over a buzzy guitar riff and Waka Flocka swooping in mid-song with a gruff rap.

But the video, showcasing a spirited, shirtless Flocka being circled by the Madden bros. offers plenty of crazy footage from the movie (starring Adam Sandler, Josh Gad and Kevin James) of video game characters destroying a city.

“Pixels” arrives in theaters July 24. This is the first official Good Charlotte sighting since 2011 and Flocka is expected to drop “Flockaveli II” later this year.
