Years ago, Atlanta-based Oliver Wood fronted an excellent funk and blues band by the name of “King Johnson,” playing venues like the Northside Tavern and building an avid fan base around town. But bands come and bands go, and these days Oliver has joined up with his younger brother Chris to form -- good guess! -- the Wood Brothers!

Here’s Oliver, preaching the virtues of happiness to sing us into the weekend.
