President Donald Trump's campaign is spending $1.5 million to air a new television ad that takes a swipe at the news media, and talks about what Mr. Trump has been able to do since being sworn into office in late January, arguing the new President is fulfilling his campaign promises of 2016.

"First 100 Days: The Truth Mainstream Media Refuses To Tell," was the headline of the announcement by the Trump campaign.

"The mainstream media lies. Don’t let fake news dominate the truth," it says on the campaign's web page.
