Television host Montel Williams was detained in a German airport over medical marijuana. He was released without incident, his spokesman said.
"This morning while traveling through the Frankfurt airport, Montel was briefly held in German customs while they verified the validity of one of his MS prescriptions," spokesman Jonathan Franks said in a statement. The statement went on to advocate for multiple sclerosis patients' rights to use medical marijuana to alleviate symptoms.
