William Ortega is home sick from school today but his faith is as strong as ever.

The 5-year-old and his mom were watching coverage of Pope Francis' visit to the U.S. and the Mass the Holy Father was celebrating.

"He asked if that's what the Pope usually did and where his church was? I told him he is a priest and he celebrates Mass in Rome," his mom Evelyn Ortega said. "He kindly accepted that answer and went off to work on more Legos. A few minutes later he came back and showed me this creation."

"Mami, look at this! Lego Pope is having Mass!" William declared.

His mom asked, what's that in front of him?

The kindergartener replied, "That's his microphone, so everybody hears him."

Note the communion elements and papal vestments too!

"Just when you think that all the whining and deep sighing during Mass is too much for a little 5-year-old boy, this happens," Evelyn said. "Then I realized that even when the kids are not paying attention the message is still sinking in. He was as moved as I was with the Holy Father's presence in the U.S. The Catholic mother in me is very happy right now."
