Jennifer Lawrence says she'll "never get Twitter" and that "If you ever see a Facebook, Instagram or Twitter that says it's me, it most certainly is not me," just as Facebook has announced a fan event in conjunction with Instagram to promote the upcoming release of "Mockingjay part 1."

The latest in "The Hunger Games" series was filmed largely in Atlanta and will be released Nov. 21. Click here for the official trailer.

The Oscar-winning star has every reason in the world not to heart social media, of course, following the unauthorized release  of her private photos after some creep hacked into her phone.

She told the BBC that she feels "scorned" by the Internet and that it would be too time consuming anyway. "I cannot really keep up with emails so the idea of Twitter is so unthinkable to me," she said.

Lawrence does have an official Facebook page, no doubt managed for her by someone else. Its latest message is: "Join Jennifer and the Mockingjay Part 1 cast on Monday, November 17th for an exclusive Facebook Fan Event! Submit your questions for her and the cast in the comments below, or on Instagram video using #AskMockingjay."
