Donald Trump has weathered scorn from both sides of the American political aisle as well as condemnation from abroad after his call for a temporary ban on all Muslim travelers to the United States. Now he's facing scorn from a writer of "Empire," one of the hottest shows on television at the moment.

A writer from the hit series "Empire" is letting Donald Trump have it.

Eric Haywood, one of the writers on the "Empire" team, shared his sentiments about the presidential hopeful via social media, using a clip Trump himself posted with his co-star, a bald eagle. It's been shared and liked more than 1,000 times each.
