Although Marsai Martin recently finished filming the upcoming movie "Little," beginning the project didn't come without obstacles.

The "Black-ish" actress was recently featured on The Hollywood Reporter's "Top 30 Stars Under 18" list, and it revealed some details about the flick, which was shot in Atlanta.

The 13-year-old, who is the star and executive producer of the comedy, created the plot for “Little” after firing an agent who suggested she “just chill and take a break.”

Instead of “chilling,” she conceived the idea for the script. It’s about a woman who gets to re-live her youth when adulthood becomes too hard. The project was picked up by Universal Studios, and Martin even convinced Issa Rae to take a role.

Now “Little” is in post-production. It is set to hit theaters in November 2019.
