"Barbershop 3" filming in southwest Atlanta; a look at traffic impact

Ice Cube's "Barbershop 3" is filming in southwest Atlanta and may impact your commute a little bit.

The state DOT released these lane closure/traffic impact details:

Film crews will pace traffic and close lanes on State Route 139/Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard to film segments of “Barbershop 3” in Atlanta.

WHEN:         Monday, May 18                9 a.m.- 4 p.m.

Tuesday, May 19                9 a.m.- 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.- 12 a.m.

Wednesday, May 20           9 a.m.- 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.- 12 a.m.

Thursday, May 21               9 a.m.- 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.- 5 a.m.

Tuesday, May 26                9 a.m.- 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.- 5 a.m.

WHERE:    SR 139/ Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard from Laurel Avenue, SW to Inman Street, SW.

ADVISORY: Pacing and lane closures are likely to result in delays. Motorists are advised to exercise caution while driving in the area. Detour signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area.
