Atlanta filming updates: Ben Affleck movie, Chipmunks filming in Midtown

"The Accountant," starring Affleck as a shady forensic accountant, is filming at Georgia Tech. The project, which previously has filmed in Roswell, also stars Anna Kendrick, J.K. Simmons, Jon Lithgow, Jon Bernthal and Jeffrey Tambor.
Tech's a popular filming site, by the way. Movies including "The Internship" with Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn; and "Million Dollar Arm" with Jon Hamm are among the films to have set up shop there. Go, Jackets!
My friend @BipolarBombchel posted this photo of Shout-turned-recording studio.
In other filming news "Alvin and the Chipmunks 4" is at Colony Square today, in the location where the restaurant "Shout" used to be. Today it's been turned into a recording studio.
