Yumbii, the popular Asian-Mexican fusion truck, will open its first brick-and-mortar location -- named Yumbii Taco Shop -- next month at 1927 Peachtree Road NE in South Buckhead in Brookwood Village. It's the first in a series of openings planned for the expanding brand.

The 1440 square-foot restaurant will offer both counter service and dine-in seating.

The menu will be similar to that of the food truck, featuring items including panko-crusted fish tacos, Asian rib-eye Phillys, spicy pulled pork sliders and sides such as sesame fries with sriracha cheese dip. There will also be additional items including breakfast tacos, salads, Mexican-style street corn and rice bowls.

In addition to the new restaurant, Yumbii also recently introduced an eco-friendly, low-emissions “Super Food Truck” to its fleet which runs on diesel and turns exhaust into nitrogen gas and water vapor.

Yumbii is owned and operated by Atlanta native Carson Young, who started the first Yumbii food truck in 2010.
