Over the years, I have given my dad construction paper cards, framed photos, wallets, baseball caps, watches, artwork, bottles of good red wine and a bunch of miscellaneous thing I can't recall right now. We dined out for breakfast and lunch; I cooked hearty steak and potato dinners.
This year, I’m in a quandary as to what to buy (or prepare) for him, but am certain it will be fall under the culinary umbrella. He doesn’t need another wallet, tie, pair of socks or concert tickets.
