Crop Mob Atlanta will now be managed by the nonprofit The Farmer Fund. The two organizations have partnered together to help support the network of sustainable farms around Atlanta.

Rusty Bowers, chef-owner of Pine Street Market is leading the initiative, along with Cory Mosser of Natural Born Tillers .

The Farmer Fund was created to help rebuild farms after natural disasters so that farmers can continue to serve the community. Crop Mob Atlanta brings volunteers to lend a hand at small sustainable farms to keep them operating.

The first Crop Mob led under the direction of The Farmer Fund will be at Woodland Gardens in Winterville, Georgia on April 23. A Crop Mob isn't just hard work. After volunteers get their hands dirty they will rewarded with a free meal donated by chef Peter Dale of Athens restaurant The National. Volunteers can sign up here for free.
