BBQ and a cure. National Ravioli Day. Black-tie gala with lots of cocktails. This weekend, there's lots of fun, food events happening around town. Add one or all four events to your calendar and be prepared to eat, drink and have a grand ole time. Cheers to weekend.

Culinary party: A five-course pop up dinner will kick off at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Mar. 18 at the Four Seasons Atlanta. Executive chef Robert Gerstenecker, chef Hector Santiago of El Super Pan Latino Sandwiches & Bar and pastry chef Charles Barrett will offer palate-pleasing flavors throughout the evening. Saturday gala: The 27th annual Wings of Mercy Ball, a Mad Hatter's Affair inclusive of a cocktail reception, silent auction, dinner and more, will raise funds in support of the new Mercy Care clinic slate. The black-tie ball, co-chaired by Mrs. Billye Aaron (baseball legend Hank Aaron's wife) and Dr. Judith Rochon James, practicing psychiatrist with Kaiser Permanente, will kick off at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 19 at the St. Regis Hotel. BBQ and a cure: Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q and SweetWater Brewery will team up to host a fundraiser to help Cynthia Montoya, a long-time Fox Bros. employee and current general manager who was diagnosed with stage II pancreatic cancer last year. Several chefs will donate their time and resources to this event including Kevin Rathbun, Ford Fry, Chris Hall, Eddie Hernandez and more. The philanthropic festivities will include food, beer and live music; it will be held from 12:30-4:30 p.m. Sunday, March 20 at SweetWater. Tickets, which are $30, may be purchased here.

National Ravioli Day: For a specialty three-course prix fixe menu of pasta, visit Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse all day on Sunday, March 20. The Buckhead restaurant will offer handmade lemon ricotta ravioli with herb butter sauce and lobster and English pea ravioli made with mascarpone and tomato broth. For dessert, guests will enjoy chocolate ravioli with raspberry creme filling and strawberry sauce. The cost is $45; the traditional a la carte menu will also be available.
