Whiskey expo: Distiller from around the world will share their spirits and knowledge during Whiskies of the World , which will begin at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. Bacon explosion: Atlanta chef, restaurateur, speaker and cookbook author Kevin Gillespie will team up with BBQ Addicts's Jason Day to pay respect to the pig with a "Bacon Explosion" event at Gillespie's restaurant, Revival. Guests can savor a pound of bacon-wrapped, bacon-stuffed barbecue sausage dish from 12-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24. Tickets are $30, which includes food and two drinks; for $50, attendees will receive all of the aforementioned plus a copy of Gillespie's "Pure Pork Awesomeness" cookbook. LIVE party: Imagine your favorite restaurants—all 40 of them—in one place, serving your favorite dishes. Imagine dancing the evening away in the name of fun and philanthropy. This evening of entertainment will be a reality at the third iteration of Atlanta Eats LIVE , hosted from 5-10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre. Tickets are $55 each and can be purchased here. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Giving Kitchen.
Fall festival: Bantam + Biddy will celebrate the third anniversary of its Ansley Mall location with an outdoor fall festival featuring live music, local vendors and a lemonade stand. The fun kicks off at 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 25.
Sunday yoga: Veronica Lewinger, a Ponce City Market ambassador and vinyasa instructor at Evolation Yoga and Decatur Yoga, will teach an all-levels yoga class entitled "Bend & Brew" at Second Self . The breathing and bending will begin at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25; the brew and taste tour will begin promptly after class. Tickets, which include the yoga class, private brewery tour, and six samples of beer, are $20 and can be purchased here or at the door. Guests should bring their own mat.
