Baguettes, boules, croissants, ciabatta. If the smells of freshly baked bread get your tummy rumbling, mark your calendar for this Saturday, Jan. 30, when new bread bakery TGM Bread opens to the public .

The shop, located in Emory Point at 1540 Avenue Place next door to the General Muir, will be offering such artisanal loaves as pain au levain, cranberry walnut, olive, ciabatta, asiago cheese, multigrain sandwich loaves, baguettes, English muffins and croissants. TGM Bread will be open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., or until the bread is gone.

TGM Bread is led by Rob Alexander, one of Atlanta's top bakers, and primarily serves as the production facility that provides bread for The General Muir,  Fred's Meat & Bread and Yalla at Krog Street Market , and sister restaurant West Egg Cafe , as well as wholesale customers like Ticonderoga Club.
