Instagram food photography class. Gospel brunch. Lots of chocolate. There are several fun, food events happening in metro Atlanta, so add one or all four of the following to your calendar. Be prepared to eat, drink and have a grand ole time.

Tuesday, Feb. 14: If you want to give a sweet treat to yourself (singles get to celebrate Valentine's Day too) or a significant other, head to Xocolatl for chocolate bars, drinking chocolate, gifts sets and more. And, if you don't make it to Xocolatl today, swing by any other day; chocolate products are always available at this Krog Street Market shop, or check out these other shops to get your chocolate fix.

99 Krog St. N.E., Atlanta. 404-604-9642, xocolatlchocolate.com.

Wednesdays: For a plate of lasagna and a glass of wine for $18, head to Valenza , an Italian restaurant in Brookhaven that offers this dining deal weekly. If lasagna isn't your thing, try this dish.

Sunday, Feb. 19: The good times will roll during a gospel brunch buffet with Southern food faves plus music by five time Grammy Award winner Eric "Ricky" McKinnie, Paul Beasley of The Blind Boys of Alabama and Mudcat and the Atlanta Horns. Doors will open at noon Feb. 19; the performance will begin at 1 p.m. at Eddie's Attic . General admission tickets are $20 per person; the all-you-can eat brunch by Revival will be an additional $24.

515-B N. McDonough St., Decatur. 404-377-4976, eddiesattic.com.

Sunday, Feb. 19: How do you snap the right angle or catch the right lighting? During a food photography class, guests will learn how to capture Instagram worthy photos and practice their skills throughout a three-course meal featuring shishito peppers, orecchiette, sticky toffee pudding and a complimentary cocktail from 1-3 p.m. at Double Zero . Seats are $49 per person; call to make a reservation.
