Sandwich fans, rejoice -- Chef Hector Santiago announced his new venture, El Super Pan, will open in Ponce City Market's Central Food Hall on next Monday.

The Puerto Rican-born Santiago, who previously ran Super Pan as a food stall and also helmed Highland spot Pura Vida and managed the kitchen at Anne Quatrano's Abattoir , will offer a menu of sandwiches, snacks, and sides, including the Medio Dia, a pressed sandwich on a submarine roll with crispy pork skin, adobo-roasted pork, clove ham, chayote pickles, Swiss, pineapple-habanero mustard; and Pork Belly Buns on a steamed coconut bun with crispy smoked piloncillo pork belly, house sambal, spicy tamarind sauce, and cilantro slaw. See the full menu here.

The menu will also include homemade pastries and desserts such as chipotle-chocolate chip cookies, organic egg flan, and bacon-guava shortbread cookies.

The sandwich bar will be open for lunch and dinner daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and after 6 p.m., a “Menu del Dia” featuring a list of seasonal plates, will be available.

Latin American spirits will dominate the cocktail menu, and Latin cocktails including Pina Coladas and Pisco Sours can be ordered off menu. The beer and wine list will also feature Latin favorites, and El Super Pan is collaborating with local brewery Second Self Beer Company to brew its own Malta, a non-alcoholic malt beverage popular in the Caribbean.

El Super Pan is a collaboration with Jason Mann and George Frangos, the co-founders of Farm Burger, which has Georgia locations in Decatur, Buckhead and Dunwoody.
