Foundation Social Eatery

Roswell’s Foundation Social Eatery pays homage to the humble apple with a savory preparation. Available at least through the end of October, the sautéed scallops entrée is a play on classic flavor pairing and textures thanks to granny smith apple slices and purée that accompany the pan-roasted scallops. Wood fire-roasted cauliflower, forest mushroom and a brown butter chicken jus balance it out, with some extra crunch in the form of toasted almonds.

Fire Stone Wood Fired Pizza & Grill

Apple on a pizza? Heck yes! The new Pork & Apple pizza at Fire Stone Wood Fired Pizza & Grill in Woodstock is crafted from a savory apple butter and smoked pork belly for a rich and flavorful indulgence. Cheddar and mozzarella cheese and julienned apple top the creation for a little sharpness and extra tang, while a drizzle of pepper jelly adds the final touch. We like to think of it as the new “Hawaiian”!
