My favorite room has and will probably always be the kitchen, since that's where I spent my free time as a child. My great-grandmother was a chef and master baker, neither in the traditional sense, but more of someone who could cook and bake any and everything--without measuring. My love of food and baking comes from her. As a kid, with her assistance, my food tasted pretty delish. As a young adult, there were a few lots of dump-that-in-the-garbage moments. Except for eggs. I was nice with eggs.
All of this brings me today's poll: What was the first dish you learned to cook?
Vote in the poll and share your thoughts in the comments section. Poll results will post in two weeks so get to voting or sharing on social.
