A location of a grilled cheese chain is no longer, and a poké spot will take its place.
Poké Bar, which has a location in Sandy Springs , will open at 3350 Buford Drive in Buford, taking the place of Tom + Chee, which recently closed according to The Schumacher Group, Inc. realty company.
Tom + Chee has also closed locations in Alpharetta and West Midtown. One remains open in Kennesaw.
Poké Bar's menu menu focuses on poke, a Hawaiian favorite and essentially a raw fish salad. The menu allows customers to create their own poké bowls with their choice of fish and seafood such as tuna and salmon, mix-ins such as seaweed and pineapple, flavors such as ponzu and spicy mayo.
The restaurant is slated to open later this year. The spot is also expected to open locations in Alpharetta and Edgewood in Atlanta this year, according to Tomorrow's News Today.
