, and now a restaurant with a menu focusing on the Hawaiian favorite -- essentially a raw fish salad -- has opened its doors in Sandy Springs.

Poké Bar, located at 6615 Roswell Rd NE, Ste 340, is the first Georgia outpost of the West Coast chain, which has about 10 locations in California. There are reportedly plans for more Poke Bars in metro Atlanta.

The menu allows customers to create their own poké bowls with their choice of fish and seafood such as tuna and salmon, mix-ins such as seaweed and pineapple, flavors such as ponzu and spicy mayo.

To celebrate the grand opening, the restaurant is offering 50 percent off poké bowls through Wednesday, Oct. 19.

The new restaurant replaces Seven Hens, the fast-casual chicken schnitzel restaurant that closed last month.
