For a good time, dine with Santa.
Sure, your kids may want to leave a plate of cookies and a glass of milk on the kitchen counter for Santa, but the milk may spoil and you will be tempted to eat the cookies (because…why would you discard cookies?). This holiday season, jingle all the way to the following five restaurants, so your children can meet Santa, share wish lists (they are on the nice list, right?), take pictures and of course, eat really good food.
Dec. 10-11: Buckhead Diner will host its annual breakfast with Santa featuring face-painting, table-side visits from Rudolf and Santa's elves, a performance from the Atlanta Ballet Company's production of The Nutcracker and a chance to sit on Santa's lap from 8:30-11 a.m. The cost is $45 per person, which includes breakfast, beverages and all activities; children under two are free.

Dec. 9 – 11 and Dec. 14 – 24: Partake in afternoon tea with Santa, a traditional holiday celebration at The St. Regis Atlanta from 2-4 p.m. and 4:30-6:30 p.m. in Astor Court. The event will include hand-selected teas and seasonal treats; a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus; and holiday music by a harpist. A seat at the table will be $75 for adults, $52 for children 4 – 12 years old and free for children three years old and under. While there, be sure to visit the life-sized gingerbread house replete with a candy cane picket fence, whirly pop walkway and whimsical candy decor. If you're wondering just how sweet it is, here are the composition specs: 400 pounds of gingerbread, 500 pounds of confectionary sugar, 100 pounds of candy, 100 pounds of chocolate, and 400 macarons.

Sunday, Dec. 11: The man in the red suit will be available for photos from 9:30-11:30 a.m. along with a special breakfast menu beginning at 10 a.m. at Hugo's Oyster Bar . Menu options will consist of warm beignets, eggs Benedict, crab omelet, shrimp and grits and more. Children will be able to select dishes such as blueberry pancakes, French toast or scrambled eggs. A seat at the table will be $29.95 for adults and $14.95 for kids. Tickets will include breakfast, face painting, and a picture with Santa, the Nutcracker Ballerina and Rudolf.
