Wondering what to do this Wednesday? Find fun, foodie events, of course! From tea and light bites to multi-course meals, the following three events may offer a reason to celebrate hump day.

Tipple + Rose Tea Parlor and Apothecary: This eclectic and comfy shop in Virginia Highland is having a tea and things event called Mixer Mixer from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23. Guests will enjoy light bites and sip on specialty tea cocktails made with Tipple + Rose tea and local mixers from PROOF and 18.21 Bitters. Tipple + Rose's owner, Doria Roberts, will also host a demo to teach guests how to make their own specialty tea cocktails at home. Tea and mixers used in the cocktails will be available for purchase. Peach & the Porkchop: Despite the name, all are invited to this farm-fresh event. The five-course Locals Only wine dinner will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23. and will feature clams, black bass as well as guinea hen—all locally sourced. Ration & Dram: Cheers to the future. Take a midweek break next Wednesday and enjoy a special three-course dinner paired with HINE cognac at this neighborhood spot in Kirkwood. A welcome cocktail and amuse-bouche will be served at 6:30 p.m., with dinner to follow at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30. The dinner is priced at $50, including beverage pairings.
