National Taco Day 2019: Atlanta deals, specials and the best places to take down a taco

Taco Tuesday is great and all, but National Taco Day (Friday, Oct. 4)  is when the real celebration goes down. Check out these spots around metro Atlanta to chow down on everyone's Mexican staple, or try some great recipes for making your own at home. All deals are for Oct. 4 only unless otherwise noted. Customers are advised to check with locations ahead of time to ensure they’re participating in Taco Day promotions.

Looking for cheap tacos and specials?

Applebee's. Participating locations of the chain will offer a buy-one-get-one, 2-4-1 Tacos and Titos deal, discounting the Wonton Tacos appetizer, as well as serving up two Tito's vodka drinks for the price of one in honor of both National Taco Day and National Vodka Day.

bartaco. The restaurant will serve its #bartacosecret limited-edition Oaxacan Spiced Chicken Taco. Available on the secret menu from Oct. 4th – Dec. 3, the taco features crispy chicken with kohlrabi slaw. Additionally, on Oct. 9, the restaurant will roll out a new fall menu featuring a crispy brussels sprouts taco, a miso cod taco and pork posole.
