Less than a month after releasing news that it was opening a store in Decatur , a poké restaurant has announced its second Atlanta location.
Poke Perfect will open a location in the Westside Provisions District at 1100 Howell Mill Road in the former Yoforia space this summer. The spot, which has its European headquarters in Amsterdam and its U.S. headquarters in Atlanta, currently has one open location in Amsterdam. In addition to plans for the Decatur and West Midtown, Poké Perfect is also set to open a third Atlanta location in Inman Park later this year, as well as a second European location.
The concept is the brainchild of Hunter Satterwhite, who is a former chef at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles and studied at the New England Culinary Institute. He also previously had a stake in the Savannah restaurant Treylor Park.
Poké Perfect’s menu is similar to other recent poke additions to Atlanta, including Poké Bar in Sandy Springs and BoruBoru Sushi at Emory Point, offering create-your-own and signature poké bowls (poké, for the uninitiated, is basically a Hawaiian raw fish dish). Poké Perfect will expand its menu in Atlanta to offer cooked proteins to fill its bowls.
